After already working within various calibers of the hospitality industry since I was 18, I began my professional cooking career on BC’s Sunshine Coast some years ago catering to patients and residents in local healthcare institutions. This allowed me the opportunity to be educated working with special diets, adhering to specific dietary restrictions while also trying to ensure the food was gourmet and nutritious.

Through years of different cooking experiences I attended and graduated from the culinary arts program at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Vancouver, BC (formerly The Dubrulle Culinary Institute) where I honed my culinary skills and developed business skills as an entrepreneur for nearly 18 months studying and practicing the many dimensions of the culinary arts and the food and beverage industry.

During my time in Vancouver I was hired and cooked at the famous Joe Fortes Seafood & Chophouse where I was exposed to a broad range of industry techniques and skills. After culinary school I decided to enter the personal catering industry and started All Around Personal Chef & Catering Group to offer an entirely different personal chef and catering experience to clients within beautiful Vancouver and its surrounding areas as well as the Sunshine Coast.

My culinary style is pretty much across the board – modern and classic with everything from traditional local fare from right here in British Columbia to European and New American influences as well as Canadian-Asian fusion cuisines.

Throughout my career I have always been more passionate about tending to the individual and personal needs of my clients and guests when it comes to their favourite foods, diets and eating habits and using seasonal or organic ingredients wherever and whenever possible.

I am both a member of The Chef Alliance (formerly the Canadian Personal Chef Alliance) and the Canadian Restaurant & Foodservice Association. Myself and my culinary team hold Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificates, or have graduated and completed studies through private culinary schools and institutions. All members of All Around Personal Chef & Catering Group participating in your personal chef experience also hold valid government-approved food handler’s safety and sanitation certificates, or related education as health and safety are #1 in our organization. In addition to making your food exciting, tasty and tailored to your personal needs your trust in myself and my team are very important.
